This document outlines the responsibilities and obligations of the user (hereafter known as “You”) and Routes2ride (hereafter known as “Us”). Our service offerings are collectively referred to as the “Service” throughout this document.

Your acceptance of these terms is indicated by your use of the Service and specifically, but not limited to, the Routes2ride website. We reserve the right to terminate your usage of the Service if we believe you have not abided by these terms in any way. We also reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion.

These terms may be modified from time to time without explicit notice to You. For this reason you should review these terms periodically when using the Service.

User submitted content - posting

Much of the content available on the Service is submitted by users. Copyright is always retained by users’ with regard to content they submit to the Service.

When you post submissions on the Service, you retain all of your ownership rights in your Submissions. However, by submitting this content to Routes2ride, you hereby grant Us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the content in connection with the Routes2ride Website and related or successive businesses, in any media formats, through any channels.

Content made available on the Service is for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not violate our users' rights by reproducing this content through any means without express written permission. 

User submitted content - reliance

Content submitted by members of Routes2Ride is published by Sustrans in good faith on the express basis that its accuracy and/or appropriateness has not been verified. Given this, we do not give any warranties whatsoever about routes based on such member submitted content and acceptance of these terms of use shall signify a complete waiver of any claim against us arising from such user submitted content.

Lawful use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You warrant that you possess all applicable rights to any content you post on the Service, and that you will refrain from posting any content to which you do not hold the applicable rights.

You may not use the Service to engage in any activity which directly or indirectly interferes with another persons' privacy.

You agree to indemnify Us against any usage of the Service You undertake that may lead to legal recourse by any third party. We take no responsibility for any actions undertaken by You in your use of the Service.
