Millennium Coastal Park

Llanelli to Pembrey Country Park - Travel west from the Discovery Visitor Centre near Llanelli’s North Dock along one of the finest sections of the National Cycle Network in the whole of the United Kingdom.
More than two years work with massive earth-moving equipment has created the magnificent coastal park where once there was post industrial dereliction. The great earth works include two award-winning earth bridges over the mainline railway.
This section is one of the most popular sections of the Celtic Trail, a long distance trail which runs from Pembrokeshire to Chepstow.
Enjoy the wonderful views across to the Gower Peninsula, skirt around the new marina at Burry Port and before long you are on the edge of the sandy woodlands of Pembrey Forest, where there are many tracks which you can explore, based around the Country Park Visitor Centre.
